Sage Crump has been involved in the arts community for over 15 years. Her company Sagacity Productions has produced multi-state music festivals, peace concerts and staged theatrical readings. She has worked with and for such organization as 89.3 WRFG, Comedy Plus Review, Omenala Afrocentric Teaching Museum, and Alternate ROOTS. She is a founding member of Young African Writers Collective (YAWC), Oyster Knife writers group and is the founder and artistic director of the Community Theater Initiative. Sage is currently Program Director for the Performing Arts Exchange of the Southern Arts Federation. The Performing Arts Exchange is a 4-day learning exchange and booking conference that supports presenting and touring in 22 states. She is also a touring performance poet and vocalist.
