Since 2000 Edward P. Clapp has worked as a teaching artist, arts administrator and research assistant for institutions such as Young Audiences New York, the Bronx Writers’ Center, the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Teachers and Writers Collaborative and Harvard University’s Project Zero. Edward is the founder of Satellite Arts, Inc., www.drawyoursoul.org, and the co-founder of Collective Hole Productions, www.collectivehole.org. A practicing playwright and literary artist, Edward’s poems, short stories and plays have been published, performed and produced in the US, UK and EU. Edward holds an Ed. M. in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an MLitt. In Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow/Strathclyde and a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. Beginning in the fall of 2008, Edward will be returning to Harvard as a doctoral student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Edward’s most recent play, Appetite for Destruction, will be produced Off-Off-Broadway in July of 2008 by his Collective Hole Productions.
